So new owners, very friendly, same great food but bigger portions! New decor looks really nice, improved the atmosphere.

Although had to go twice to try their food, it was completely worth it. This is authentic Thai food, had an appetizer so full of shrimps that I just stopped counting them. Then the Pad Thai was just awesome, great taste, just spicy enough (you can order your spice on a side), and felt fresh and lovely cooked. Service is very nice. Went back again and tried the fried rice with nothing but another great experience from this restaurant.

This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten. The first one d is s fresh and made to order. Everyone was very friendly. This was our first visit, but it won’t be our last! Give this place a try! You will not regret your decision!

This place is soooo good, but heed this warning. Rori got the pad Naman Nga (chicken) and I got the soft shell crab pong gharee. Off the charts good!

My husband & I are from Houston we have tried 3 Thai places from Louisiana our favs are drunken noodles and pad Thai this is by far the BEST place for sure so so tasty flavorful delicious,, I am Mexican and eat very spicy but wowww the Thai Hot in this place (spiciest they have) is insanely hot compared to other places ,..we were dying a little bit so yes beware! , other than that we loved this place and loved the owner very good people & service 10/10

The best Asian restaurant number 2 in Lafayatte after Saigon Noodle, everything was amazing. I always come here anyway My favorite fried rice, pad thai, curry, coconut ice cream, and tom yum soup so delicious

Amazing Thai food in Youngsville! We tried the Pad Thai and Pad Krathiam Chicken. both were absolutely delicious with perfect spice levels. Some of the best Thai food we’ve had in a long time! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Great food, great service! Highly recommend Namwan Thai Kitchen!

Excellent! We have been here many, many times. Every time we go we try to get at least one different dish. They are very consistant with the quality, flavor and portions. Every dish we have ever had tasted freshly made. The picture on the left was taken after the big heaping scoop of rice was put in, but it has alot of sauce, meat, brocolli, mushrooms, and some other stuff. It was super good! The owner named the resturant Namwan after his grandmother and every receipe is from her collection. Obviously, she was (or is) a great chef because this food is very flavorful. The prices are not bad for the portions you get because technically you can split most portions into two meals. These two dishes and two fountain drinks was $25! The atmosphere is quiet unless there are alot of people which isnt very typical. That is just because people are typically talking. You can hear others conversations, so it may not be the best place for talking bad. They have a small number of tables because of the size of the place overall, but that was all on purpose, the owner wanted a smaller, relaxed place to enjoy a meal. He accomplished that! The decor on the walls are by local artists and its just another good "mom and pop" place to go.
